Version 6.0 of our BuildACommunity Suite has been released. It has many exciting improvements and new features. Video-sharing, unified commenting and tagging systems are the major features, but there are many more. Below you'll find a list of highlights. - BAC Video (video sharing) added to base package.
- Short profile url "http://domain.com/username".
- Friend approval system so that members can approve friend requests prior to activation.

- BAC Friends now supports user status. This functions in a similar manner to Facebook's status feature and allows members to post a short phrase describing their current status. This information can be displayed wherever member information is displayed.
- Global improvements to the plugin system.

- Many CommunityMembers plugins (like TOPRATEDMEMBERS, etc.) can now be displayed in a grid.

- Reworked Auto-Clubs so that all club information is available as plugins, making club layouts much more flexible.
- New BAC Calendar plugins that allow you to embed calendars anywhere on the site with many options on the type of information that is displayed and how it is laid out.
- BAC Blogger allows users to upload a logo and choose among multiple layouts for their blogs.
- Bloggers can now see statistics on their blog visitors (total number of visitors, visitors per day, etc).
- New parameters for all BAC Friends plugins to randomize order, customize the number of columns, etc.
- Tighter integration between Intrasite Messenger's 'Compose' screen and Friend's list.
- Unlimited message length for Intrasite Messenger.
- New layout options for AardvarkMall products and stores.
