Viewing a template
Our templates are a mix of simple HTML and plugins specific to our software – for example (PLUGIN:USERNAME) might insert the username of the member viewing a page. In most cases you will be able to leave the templates as is and simply change the header and footer plugins to match your site.
The Plugin Manager
Certain plugins (called "Special" plugins) return values that the administrator can set in the Plugin Manager panel of the admin. Specific uses for these special plugins include the header and footer of the website and menus.
Configuration Settings
These settings offer you the ability to alter the appearance of content printed by regular plugins. You can leave these running off the defaults, or you can edit them to your liking
Editing templates & plugins
We recommend copying the HTML of templates and plugins out of the admin and working with the code in a text editor. This makes it much easier to read and edit. When you’re finished you can paste it back into the admin over the current copy.
The Button Admin
All buttons that are printed by our software are gathered in a central admin panel where you can easily swap them out for buttons of your own design, if needed.
Swapping an Image
Buttons are swapped out for your own images by use of a simple upload form.
Email Configuration
Almost all our programs have an automated email component, so we have provided the means to customize all emails sent out by the software. You can set the subjects and edit the body of the messages. Certain emails can also make use of member data, with replacement tags inserting available member-related information when the email is sent.
Tiered Templates
Every page printed by our software runs off a template that sets the layout. You have full control of these templates should you choose to exercise it (you may also use the defaults). To reduce your workload, not all templates are automatically in use – in fact only those that appear in bold in the list are in use, any that do not appear in bold are running off of shared secondary templates.
Every page outputted by the software will first check its primary template – if nothing is entered there it will check a secondary template, and if nothing is entered there either it will use the Global Default template.
